Trendy "Long" Short Haircuts in Hollywood

Longer short cuts are all the rage in Hollywood right now! We spoke to Brian Meehan, owner of the Wayne Thomas Salon in NYC, for his take on some star-powered examples.

"The rage now is shoulder-length bobs, which you can do a lot with," the pro says - just look at Jessica Alba's long, wavy bob. Her hair's texture helps keep the style looking natural, while texturizing the ends creates lift. Brunette locks are center-parted, which Meehan says is hard to pull off-only try it if you have a pefect profile.

To do: Work in a little serum, then blow-out with a large round brush. Leaving the top smooth, use a vertically held curling iron to create barrel curls, hen shake out and let it fall loose.
